Job Description
The Information System Security Auditor is responsible for evaluating the internal/external controls and risks of the IT/GSM infrastructures. This role involves identifying weaknesses in the networked systems, creating action plans to prevent security breaches, and advising on best practices for IT security. The auditor works under the guidance of the Manager - NIS and the Information Systems Security Administrator, collaborating with clients to implement effective policies and procedures for IT security. The responsibilities include conducting security assessments, testing existing rules and procedures, and providing feedback on improving internal controls. The candidate will also participate in special projects and compliance activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assess IT risks and internal control strengths/weaknesses.
- Develop and execute audit work programs.
- Perform IT general controls review and application control reviews.
- Advise IT and business stakeholders on best practices.
- Conduct information security assessments and advise on security measures.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and frameworks.
- Share expertise with audit teams and act as a coach.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 3 - 5 years in information systems security, ideally with a technical background in Microsoft, Cisco, SQL, Oracle, and Linux platforms.
- Certifications: Certification in Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficient in information systems security and server systems.
- Knowledge of networking and database management.
- Excellent technical skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
