Job Description:

The General Manager of Network is responsible for overseeing the management, design, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the company’s internet networks. They will supervise the implementation of policies related to network management, virus prevention, and unauthorized access prevention. The key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and designing network systems.
  • Monitoring and ensuring adherence to network policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing virus protection measures and preventing unauthorized access.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly work plans in line with the IT department’s objectives.
  • Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot network issues.
  • Ensuring the integrity and security of the company’s network infrastructure.
  • Reporting on network performance and suggesting improvements.
  • Maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.

The position requires leadership skills, the ability to ensure the smooth operation of network systems, and the management of a team responsible for network tasks.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing, designing, and troubleshooting network systems.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of network architecture, internet protocols, and network security.
    • Experience with networking hardware, routers, firewalls, and switches.
    • Knowledge of network management software and monitoring tools.
    • Familiarity with wireless networking and Wi-Fi management.
    • Ability to work with network security tools and antivirus programs.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
    • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English and local languages is preferred.
  • Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
