Job Description
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via help desk tickets, calls, emails, and in-person requests.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT-related problems to ensure minimal downtime.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including computers, routers, switches, and network segments.
- Assist users with account setups, password resets, and access issues.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and performance monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 applications, including MS Teams, SharePoint Online, and Outlook.
- Document technical support activities, resolutions, and procedures.
- Collaborate with teams for IT projects and initiatives, providing technical expertise.
- Analyze IT help desk reports and provide detailed documentation for the department.
- Ensure adherence to Etisalat Afghanistan's network design and operational standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Associate’s degree with relevant certifications is acceptable).
- Certifications in CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, or equivalent are preferred.
- Proven experience (3 years minimum) in IT support roles within enterprise organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, network troubleshooting, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other network protocols.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Understanding of IT security best practices.
