The Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2025/2026 is a prestigious opportunity for highly talented international students to pursue their studies at the University of Padua, Italy. This scholarship is open to students applying for Bachelor's, Master's, or Single-Cycle degree programs that are fully taught in English.
With a focus on academic excellence, this competitive scholarship offers a tuition fee waiver and an annual stipend of €8,000 (gross amount) for the duration of the program. The duration of the scholarship is:
- 2 continuous years for Master’s degree candidates
- 3 continuous years for Bachelor’s and Single-Cycle degree candidates

Eligibilities
Eligibility for the Padua International Excellence Scholarship
To be eligible for the Padua International Excellence Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Non-Italian Citizenship
- Applicants must not possess Italian citizenship. Dual citizenship, including Italian, is not eligible.
Academic Qualifications
- For Bachelor's or Single-Cycle Degree applicants: You must hold a non-Italian secondary school diploma that qualifies you for admission to the Italian university system.
- For Master's Degree applicants: You must hold a non-Italian Bachelor's degree that qualifies you for admission to a Master's program in Italy.
Residency
- Applicants must not be residents of Italy at the time of application.
Admission to English-Taught Degree Program
- You must apply to one of the degree programs at the University of Padua that is entirely taught in English. You may apply to up to three programs, but all must be in English.
Academic Excellence
- Only candidates who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and achievements in their prior studies will be considered for the scholarship. Successful applicants will be selected based on the quality of their previous academic records and achievements.
Commitment to Representing the University
- If awarded the scholarship, you will be expected to fulfill an ambassadorial role, representing the University at various events.
No Other Scholarships
- Applicants must not be beneficiaries of other scholarships during their study period at the University of Padua.
Merit-based Continuation
- To maintain the scholarship, you must meet the academic requirements, including earning at least 20 ECTS credits by the 30th of November each academic year.

Nationality

No Concurrent Scholarships
- Applicants must not benefit from any other scholarships or grants at the time of application.
